The Resource For All Things Datsun Roadster S211/SPL212/310/311 Datsun Sports Roadster 1959-April 1970 circa 40,000 produced https://www.311s.org/phpBB3/
Yes, was a great day and seeing that many roadsters all in one place was fantastic.
Hope we can get as many of more for next years vintage races in Portland as Datsun
is the honored mark nest year.
A big thanks to Bill for hosting another great event.

Shedd Roadster BBQ wrap up. 8-18-13
Garth, Kathy, Don, Sandi, Darryl from BC and Ted
stayed over Saturday night and helped clean up from the successful event.
We left early Sunday to head North and all arrived home safely ( I hope!).
MANY thanks again to Bill and Karen Neal for hosting this wonderful gathering.
It has grown from 8 roadsters 6 years ago to 33 this year.
The Shedd Roadster BBQ is the biggest roadster gathering after Solvang and Mt Shasta.
DO come next year. Always the third Saturday of August.
So sad I missed this one... And all the others other than Shasta, in a borrowed car. Next year!!

Thanks to Bill and Karen and their Family for hosting, had a great time, tho I would have preferred to stay a tad longer to stretch my legs a bit before hitting the road back home (next year)......
Had a nice ride with Ted, then a much faster ride with Jon (John? '69 2000 w/HSU carbs) and enjoyed both.
It was nice to meet the other two Bill's, Jon, Don, Sandi, exit64, and a bunch others who's names fail me atm.....
Great bunch, good conversations. Great spread with just too much good food for me to sample it all......

Bill and Karen,
Thanks so much for the Roadstertastic event. Amanda and I had a great time and will be back next year for sure with the 2000. Also, thanks to Leigh, John and Ted for the seat time for both of us. And Ted, I am not sharing her next year. Nice picture of Amanda next to the Ranchero. Thanks,
Mike

Daryl,
So you've changed your mind about the colour choice?
I am truly flattered but there were many calendar worthy cars and drivers at the BBQ!
Yes, thanks to the Neal's for another great day. Third Shedd BBQ for me, and best fun run yet. I had the pleasure during one leg of the race, I mean fun run to have Jack Scoville behind me.....that young man sure can drive. A few times all I saw in my rear view mirror was the blue paint on his Roadster and a big smile.
Oh and Garth, not sure where you got the shirt that matched the paint on your Roadster, but next year I will try to come more color coordinated.
Nice to meet all the first time attendee's and see the new to me Roasters. Will there be 40 cars next year?
Bruce

Here is the best picture of the infamous Garth GREEN Roadster at Shedd.
It is on the the "hill" reserved for the roadster being honored this year.
It was Jack Scoville's blue roadster (on the hats) this year so I do not know how "Margarita" got up there!
My 1500 is so quiet that it is great to drive behind Garth's LOUD roadster.
He is running a Flowmaster resonator at the back with no muffler. A VERY distinct note!

I finally got around to doing a quick edit of some of the video that I shot at last summer's Shedd BBQ--
