That depends on a number of factors:thanks for the info, how a scale of 1-10 10 being the hardest how hard has this swap been?
1) Your level of mechanical skill;
2) Your fabrication skills;
3) Your knowledge or roadsters;
4) Your knowledge of the SR20;
5) The size of your wallet (can you afford to pay someone to do some of the work)
In my case, I have pretty good mechanical skills, I had experience doing a frame off of a roadster and have pulled a number of roadster engine/tranny combos, and have been working on roadsters since 1986. My fabrication skill was poor to fair (I've learned a lot). My knowledge of the SR20 was zero. My budget was reasonable but not bare bones.
This has taken me 3 1/2 years and I would put it as a 6 out of 10. For someone like Kevin Desirello or Michael Spreadbury . . . it might be a 1 or 2.
