Nope, it was going to be a parts car for my 70 and 67.5. I tore it down and stopped registering it.

Shortly after I totalled my half year Had a wheel come off @70mph.

Not sure, I am not familiar with Castella. Shasta lake is about an hour south from Mount Shasta, and 10 minute north of Redding.

Nonop doesn't cost, they just send me a bill every year in case I get it rolling agin. You might have to promise that you haven't driven it but I'm guessing it is still in the system.
Castella is in the suburbs south of Dunsmuir, undeer Castle Crags. My Dad's stomping grounds. He was quite elated when they got their own off ramp.

I remember that day! My Roadster is just behind yours. And, if I remember correctly, the car in front of yours is Victor's.

EDIT: OMG. Just noticed that is ME standing behind you in the background holding my baby daughter (4 Months old). She is now in Jr High School and a swimmer & cheerleader. Argh!

I just registered a 1967.5 from Oregon in Redding. They should have a copy of all the info they need to verify the year and serial number. All you should have to do is have a Police/Sheriff's Officer verify the VIN.

Castella is about 40 minutes north of here.

Does that mean they will hit me for 12 years of back fees??

No back fees as long it is at least 7 years out. I put both my cars on non-op for less than $100.00. It was not a problem. I do recommend that you make an appointment first thing in the AM. It only takes a few days to get the appointment time you want and it can be done on-line. I made mine at 8:15 and was at work by 8:20. You should be able to get one of the Sheriff's deputies to stop by and do the inspection, if you live close to town.

Hmmm, sounds hopefull.

Hey, did you get that one that the guy re did the floorboards? the one where he had taken the body off of the frame??

My cars came from RedBluff and Portland.
