So, here some pictures, the first one is from the floor that I give a sound deadened rubber layer, whats called Merford.
the other pictures are from the mounted doors hood etc.
the last picture is from the front what looks terrible before the paint, it didn't fit and looks like scrap. :cry: but I'm happy now.

Here are 2 newer pictures after sanding the complete paint with P3000 and after that complete polished and waxed.
Now I can start with rebuilding when the chrome comes back :smt003

I believe that's original black, the same for front of the window by the ventilation.

Not baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Not baaaaaaaaaad at all. Pretty damn good in fact.
'68 1600 (very slowly coming back to life)
'69 2000 ("She's dead, Jim!" no engine, trans, floor, interior, top, etc. ... , but she does have the Datsun emblem on the hood so that's something)

My console is also restored with all new chrome and the knobs are restored to. for the paint I used a special metal-paint that's very wear-resistant.

the Color is darker than it looks, it's almost similar at the old color.
But the right picture is made with a flash.
