Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)

Helps a bit if you cover microphone area with foam or a material with long fibres, faux fur. Helps somewhat. I have a gopro and in place a thin piece of foam between the camera body and the acrylic clear case. Helps.

Beautiful low 80's day. Sunny Clear Calm. Low traffic.
Up S-22 again. Called the "glass elevator".

Roadster Drive Today. 67 S2000. Friday. 10-15-21. 92 miles.
Cleveland NF southwest of Borrego Springs.
Another great day in the high desert. Sunny, mid 80's.
Explored some empty side roads around Julian and Santa Ysabel.
Wynola Rd and Mesa Verde Rd. Lake Henshaw.

It was a fairly nice but cool day here in the great PNW, so I decided to drive up to Mt Rainier one more time. Stopped along the way to try my luck at mushroom hunting but was skunked. When I came back to the car once I noticed that the wheels were perfectly aligned... how often does that just happen? The car was freaking great and loved the cool air. The EFI is really getting dialed in and is just what this engine has always needed. I am beyond pleased with how it's performing. The reward at the top of the road is this view of the East side of Mt. Rainier. So lucky and grateful that I live in such a beautiful place. I never get tired of driving here, and I never get tired of this car... 36 years and counting.

Car looks great Greg! And the pic of Mt. Rainer makes me a bit homesick. I wont be missing the freezing temps of central Washington though. 88 (F) here tomorrow with a low of 72. Picture is of an overlook on Hwy 1 between Loreto and La Paz in Baja California Sur , Mexico.

Went to my first car show with the 68 1600 today. Had to wait for drizzle to clear and Tire didn’t want to hold air very long so a few roadside pump ups later I was one of the last cars arriving.
Still counts!

Not sure how to have the attached pics come out right side up….

The Sunrise Hwy. south of Julian to Mount Laguna at 6000'. In the Cleveland NF south of Borrego Springs.
Another great day in the high desert. Sunny. low 80's. Very low traffic. Fantastic views.

Great drive with 6 of the SOCALROC roadster guys.
Thanks to Ray Lim for organizing the drive.
First an early short visit to an Arcadia area Cars and Coffee.
Then up San Gabriel Canyon in the Angeles NF from Azusa.

Dry and warm but cloudy.
From Arcadia Ca to Bishop in the Owens Valley East of the Sierra Nevada Mts.
A beautiful scenic area with new snow on the peaks.
Drove the Angeles Crest Hwy 2 from Arcadia to Big Pines.
