the tacho/rpm meter didn't had signal, so there must be resitor put on the connection 1 and 3 at the back of the instrument

Image

Image

the inner fluid washer bottle is to big now the car is lowered so the wheel hitted the bottle, after some heating and reforming it was still to big so we removed the big part and now only use the smal part under the hood

I am surprised that the jack and spare are unrestored, and that the battery is not in a box.

Thanks for the tip, I will ask a girlfriend for some night shots in the future, my camera (phone) is to bad for that.

I wanted something completely original, for the people who are always whining about original cars and parts...(it is not personal)
The spare is a Bluebird 910 wheel. Seem to fit and takes less bootspace.
The battery is safe in place. covered wit rubber to prefend some sparks. In future I wil make a coverplate in the trunk like RCMike. Maybe a box in the future, or maybe a dry battery which is more expensive but smaller and without the bad fluids.
There are some other things which will be done later (rechroming bootrrim, grille).
Now first getting her roadlegal on friday and after that driving some days to test everything and than the 12th hit the pedal to the metal to Norway. We go to the Nissan Sporting meet, to meet some other Roadsters in Kristiansand on the 14th and ofcourse see some other wel made Datsun's and meet our friends.

First 130km is behind us and I really love the engine and enjoy the car!
Didn't dare to go over 5500rpm yet, just careful with it and try to feel how it all goes.

Made 2 small films with my phone camera, not the best quality.

on the highway (the scream on the end is me from excitement)
