I'm truly excited for you. My life has gone upside down lately and we have considered what it would be like to live abroad and how to get the Roadster there. We look forward to hearing of your ongoing Roadster adventures!

Alex,
Great work with the car. Its come a million miles since I first met you. Great job. Good luck in Germany, and have fun. It would be cool to get some pics of the car at the Nordschleife.

Great opportunity to (legally) gather some data on the top speed of Solex 2000s! Love Germany!

Well, exciting times are a coming!
I've been tracking the car the past months, getting closer and closer. Then a while over the ocean and at port. Today I was going to register my daily driver, but they were closed. On my way leaving, something caught my eye!
My Car!

Looking good!

She started right up and it sounded amazing, really miss this car. This was the last I saw as she drove off behind a locked fence...

You can bet I'll be picking her up ASAP next week!

Well, that must be quite a relief. Glad it made the trip ok. Those forest roads in Germany look like they would make for an exciting or even a leisurely drive. On another note, that's a mighty fancy car hauler that delivered your Roadster.

That's great, and what's really great is it looks to have survived the overseas trip unscathed!
Enjoy!

Woo Hoo! I'm with Linda. Like suddenly catching a glimpse of the one you love and getting a quick hug and kiss. Hope all goes forward without a hitch!

Thanks guys, you better believe I was very surprised and excited to see her. I was more relived that it started and was running smoothly. Inspection isn't actually too crazy, the only thing I should have to do is swap to my other wheels for now. The lemans and tire combo rub really badly, I found out after shipping of my other rims. Next project is getting that fixed. had to pull the flares a little, but needs the body centered and some dents around the flares massaged. But that'll be much later. I had so many bad dreams of the hardtop flying off or something happening over the water
The only thing that bums me out is that I wasn't able to get time of for the Datsun meet on the 6th. I'll still be trying but it doesn't seem like I'll be able to.

I was a little worried not seeing the fairlady script on the rear panel until now.
Relieved too! Lol
