Watch out for bugs, Mike....
Good to have 2 people for a windsheild install...1 to hold it while the other installs, especially with new paint.

Elongating the hole in the tranny tunnel of my 2000 body for the 6 speed. It turns out that it's just cutting out the sheet metal that's spot welded in place at the factory for the 5 speed. So a 1600 body (for the 4 speed) would have been easier.

So far, the opening for the shifter is too far forward. Since the 6 speed shifter is further back by about 3 inches than the 5 speed, I'll cut the hole longer toward the rear of the hole. Also the right side of the tunnel needs to be a little wider for the 6 speed bell housing and access to the sensors on the side of the case.

It took us about 7 minutes to install the windshield..

Figuring out the mess that happened with the wiring took a while though...

I finally got around to adding side molding today. Used the 3M rolled product and it was quite easy. It brings back the classic look without having to drill holes or wonder how to deal with the stock "channel" for the original trim.

I agree 100% - side trim makes the cars complete. Without the side trim they look bloated to me...

Drove er down the drive, hooked a quik u-turn and ran it out of gas at the bottom of the drive.
Thank god the neighbor had gas.
Finishing up on the weatherstripping, getting the interior back together.
Waiting for my center console. Having it recovered.

i made vids of both roadsters to help sell one of my roadsters on evil bay. the first three is of the 69 2000 starting with a cold crank and walk around.
then i do a short run through the gears up Hwy 7, and then a hard run on a side road. should have let the engine warm up more before making the last one. the second set of three vids are of the 67 with the CA18 engine swap and Mazda rear end with LSD and 411 gears with four link suspension.
what a sneaky way to get some interest in the bidding.

Great set of vids. Is that hissing noise just the induction sound on the CA18? It almost sounds like a big vacuum leak.
