Got bored with the heat and humidity around here, so I made some numbers for Spike.
Historic BRE cars are 44 and 46, so I'm going with 45. :D

Really fun driving home today.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Thanks guys. Spike goes under the knife on Monday for some "deeper" upgrades. I'll be taking pics of course. First time pulling a Roadster motor!

Ok, I will be the voice of dissent. While it looks fine, I liked the "ghost" numbers on the door.

Can't wait, don't forget to spruce up the engine bay while you have the motor out.

Don't forget the paint cap trick on the tailshaft with plenty of duct tape to secure it.

The ghost numbers were cool, but they were "Will's" numbers. Literally. I test fit them on my car before cutting him a set. 8)

I see a lot of guys using a thin magnet material and apply the numbers to that. Then you can have numbers, or not. You can even have different themes.

I have those for my Yaris, for track days. They work great.

These were free, and since the car is getting painted someday -- somewhat temporary.

It's August, time for a new round of updates.

The rear of the Roadster is a little cluttered for my taste, and I had some universal DRL (daytime running lights) on the shelf, sooo.....

Using the stock bolt hole locations, I mounted a couple up. These sit 4" behind where the stock ones go, and are pretty stealthy unless you're 20' feet back.

And wow... seriously BRIGHT. I have the bumper brackets out for powdercoating, when they come back I'll install the bumper and post up a final pic.

These are reverse lights as installed, but you could mount them anywhere you like. They come with a nice bracket with adjustable angle.

I might use some on the front, but I sure like my foglights.
