Oooh, very nice. Can't wait to hear how they fit....so I can tell Terry & Barry to ship the set I've ordered if they work out for you. :)

Don, I'm replacing my Libra knockoffs w/ the Superlites in case you're interested. Not quite sure what they're worth yet, but if you're interested, let me know and I'll send some pics as soon as my new wheels come in and I have a chance to clean up the Libra knockoffs. They're in pretty good shape though.

It will be sometime before I am ready for wheels as I have just started to tear mine down and based on funds and time figure about 5 years to do this project, but thanks for the offer. Was really just commenting on those wheels really like the look of them

For those waiting for fitment results..I dropped my car & tires/rims off at a friendly local Datsun shop to check the fitment of the rims, then mount and balance them.

Dave & Jason at ND Auto Care in San Mateo, CA will also be doing a few extra things to the car...so It probably won't be till mid next week till I have a report-out.

Kinda makes me glad I'm bolting on my old used cleaned up repainted wheels. I can't stand the suspense. Between this and "Heroes" being off till January, I'm having anxiety issues.

All...Just a quick update...

I was waiting for a few days for some valve stems to arrive. They arrived yesterday evening.

ND Auto Care kindly went ahead and test fit a rim/tire (before the proper stems arrived) to the drivers side, rear wheel of the car.

The rim and Falken 195/60/r14 (rt-615) fit like a glove!!! No touching, rubbing or clearance issues. Even better, it did not require the use of longer studs either!!

Still need to mount the whole set and make sure the fronts properly clear the front-hubs. Also, need to take it on a good test drive through the twisties to make sure under the hard turns there are no clearance issue.

Planning on picking up the car on Friday 12/22. Will update everyone soon...

I had to roll my rear fenders with the 195/60-14 on the slots... just for squatting and cornering though.

Dan,

About half of all roadsters in Australia are running Performance Superlite wheels in either 14x6 or 15x6 with 12mm offset and 195 tyres, why are you concerned there might be clearance issues?!

Mostly, I'm hoping I ordered the right fitment.

In the past, I've had issues with wheels not having the proper fitment. For example, when I first purchased my 67 2000, it had on a set of rims with the wrong fitment (the rear shackles were reversed so the tires/wheels could clear the fenders). See the silver car->

Part of the concern (which no longer is a worry) was that longer studs would be needed. For example, I later replaced the spoke rims on my old 67 2000 with 14x6 Panasports. However, the Panasports required longer studs to be used.

The other concern was actually the tires, because the Falken Azenis tires I purchased are pretty wide.
