Ever seen the rods of the 4 banger cycle engines they are half of car rod plus the flywheel tiny

Yeah they are much lower torque and high rpm. This is more of a why not experiment that may actually work

Interesting. Will read up on that motor. For now going with the Hayabusa 1300.

Torque is the concern here, at least for me.
My alleged math indicates 178 HP at 10,000 RPM will give 94 lb-ft of torque. That’s a bit less than a 2000 making 135 HP.
The real question is what is the shape of the torque curve?
IOW, where does it peak? (At what RPM?)
Remember that torque is the only thing that can be physically measured. Horsepower is just a calculated value; HP is (T*RPM over 5252)
What that means is what you really feel as the car pulls hard through the gears… is torque.

Hi. I believe it's a higher end torque curve. It's more of an experiment than something reasonable
I have done V8 swaps/builds my whole life so wanted to try something new that revs super high.
I will probably look at the honda k24 or some of the other similar options if it doesn't work out.
Also I am getting a 1600 motor at some point to maybe go original or have the option at least.
