I just remembered.... my neighbor bought rims almost exactly like that for his newly resto'd 280z. Im trying to get over to his house to get a pic but keep forgetting

Yeah, they are getting super popular for the early Zs. Not so popular for the 510 because they take so much work to fit.

And because everyone says they absolutely will not fit. 8)

So the rear fender flairs have no original Datsun detail in them?
Actually the rears are complete fiberglass peices from the door along the ridge by the trunk and to the back. They don't have much flaring in them compared to the front. With the silver paint, or what Sid calls the " Coors "
can look, you can't really follow the body lines.

That cage looks burly!
I bought the car with the cage in it. Its the high hoop design. The way the cage is designed I can put a passenger seat in it still. With the low hoop cages the down bar goes through the passenger side. I wanted to be able
to have instructors ride along with me.
