I ran the car for decades without the front bumper, with push-bars nearly identical to the WD car, but put it back on in 1996 or thereabouts when I put the BRE air dam and undertray in place. The cars look really good without the bumpers (both), IMHO. Just a bit more fragile in traffic without them.

They can only show so much on the show and they pick what they think makes the best TV. They did struggle quite a lot with the tuning. I rebuilt the carbs for them and the distributor was upgraded to electronic. Last I heard they were very happy with how it was running.

The fellow from the show said someone gave them my number. I have no idea who. Thanks to whoever it was.

Hagerty Driver's Club (formerly Hagerty Plus) also gets you free flatdeck towing within a certain range:
Used it a couple of times for the roadster & 300ZX's... no hassles every time.

Just watched it.
Nice to get some love for our cars.
Thought both buying/selling price was high.
Liked the pedal mod, though I don't need it.
One pet peeve of mine - he used a mallet right on the center of the dust caps to drive them in. That's why they are always dented.
I too am fond of the deleted bumpers aesthetically, though certainly would dispense with the overriders - only there to damage the grill and rear panel.
Overall, worth watching.

So Ant, couldn't get it sorted out. Well I guess Christina soothed his bruised ego. There could be worst things I guess. Having said that they really went cheap tossing an old used rag top on it. At the time of airing I thought how and the hell did they get the seats done for $320, and of course you can't since there was no indication that Ant performed the work let alone going through the trouble of new seat covers and not address what would have been obvious = new padding / foam.
All in all it was good for the Roadster exposure. I enjoy the show in general but they sure take liberties at times on the amount money they claim to spend on repairs.

I don’t think Christina soothed him much....they filed for divorce this month.

Ha! I read that about an hour after posting. Christina must be some piece of work, Prima donna.
