Oh how I love that car... I fell in love with Rocks car many years ago and it makes me very happy to see it out again. I have no doubt that my love of black and gold was strongly influenced by this car... looking forward to reading the ongoing story!

Seems they got the driver wrong on 1 pic, unless it was Rock Vest driving...

Is that the 318 Roadster or the 6.7? I get them confused.

This one was being towed by the 6.7.. They told me if I ran the 6.7 I would have to run with the stock cars, and that Nova was NASTY..

Mike, the car needs to say Rock Vest, piloted by Mike xxxx (don't know your last name).
Do cars have "lives?" "Souls?" "Personalities?" I think so, if we believe they do. So cool that this one continues on.

Any roadsters going to the Hawk/Redman vintage races at Road America this summer?

I was crewing for the #70 510 that hit oil from the 46 Z. My friend Steve spun and clouted the concrete a couple of times. Rounded off both right side corners, knocked the alignment out of any semblance of decency, and triggered a massive thrash to get it back on track.

Wow, that was Great! I still have videos to watch when I get home. Really a nice write up, and I enjoyed the blow by blow drama of the engine swap, so cool it came out so well!

Sid! It was a pleasure to finally meet you in person after all these years! I know there was beer available but we didn't have one together...come to Laguna Seca to rectify this!
I also met Karl and Cathy, saw there v8-powered roadster on the parade lap, and met Cole (cole455)! I spotted a few roadsters in the camping area, anyone we know?
Me, Charles and Sid
Al Gast with his EP 2000:
Karl and Cathy
Les's lightweight:
Adam's #44 BRE roadster...sadly relegated to folding table transporter

Watts Up?
