The headlights work perfectly now. High beam, low beam, high/low beam indicator and dash lights. Perfect, great strength as well.

And the sum total of the problems to get them working?

For the hazard switch only a 69-70 switch will work. I've seen 68 switches on ebay saying they will work. They will not, plug and internal workings are different.

Brake lights will be fun, all kinds of things get switch when you turn on the turn signal.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

Great,
What are the turn signals doing with and without the hazard switch turned on?

This was one of the culprits with the the fuse to the headlights. LOL.

In prep going after the turn signals, I picked up a new...yes...new turn signal switch from DatsunParts.com. I have spent too much time/money trying to make a good one from the parts of two. The days are not warm enough for me to work on the car in my shop, so going to go quiet for a while.

Everyone, the original issue with the headlights has been resolved. I am going to open a new topic on my hazard switch. Thanks everyone.
