What is the story about how you found the car? Did you get any info about its history?

The guy who gave it to me. Yes, gave it to me ( insert cheesy smiley face) is going to get a hold of his buddy who owned it before him so we could meet and talk about it's history. I believe he is the original owner, however I cannot confirm until I meet with him. I'm known for saving Datsuns in this town and the person who gave it to me said that he's noticed how many Datsuns are back on the road here due to me saving them, therefore I was gifted this beauty. I told him that he could get good money for it however, he insisted that I take it and said to pay it forward. As a man of my word I gave my buddy a car as opposed to selling it to him for the previously discussed amount, I'm a big believer in karma and I believe it's just coming back around my way.

When it comes time to sort the carb and manifold please drop me a note. I would be happy to fit it into by busy schedule.

How cool is that...
The question to ask is: Did the owner (you) find the car, or did the car find the right owner?
I'm with you on the karma... A well known experience here on this list! Excited for your upcoming journey, settling in to watch the story unfold as it does, over time... Over time...

Great story on how you came across it! You're smart not to take the car apart until after the move.
The master cylinder shown looks like one from a 411.

Well, it's been quite some time but I thought I would check in. I'm now here in Washington and currently looking for a home to purchase. I still have the Roadster and will be bringing it up here to Washington after a home is purchased. Anybody up here in Washington?
