Congrats, it took a long time, but this is a great step, now you can build the other parts around the engine. :smt023
I assume you use the old harness with some new wiring.

damn I was hopping to avoid that haha

Also thank you Peter! It indeed took forever. I used the stock harness that came with the motor and then used a Can/Am box from ratsun.net, just splice into 9 wires and it'll fire up! Eventually I'll get rid of all the extra wiring that's not being used or switch over to Megasquirt.

Can you tell me later or here what you adjust to the cambox, I asume the fuel pump etc.And why switch over to megasquirt, is the normal ecu not good with a horsham chip.

there are no adjustments on the can/am box. Also, the only reason I would convert to megasquirt is if I want to get more power, easier to tune.

how is your car driving, I had just about 6000 km on the clock now, but have some problems with my gearbox, was revisited in spring but starts wining again, do you have any troubles with your gearbox?
