Thank you for all the input! Added the trunk release e-cable to my list of to do's.
As I'm removing and cleaning and polishing all the lights and chrome I'm going to go ahead and replace all the bulbs. It looks like they are all pretty much the originals that came with the car.
Any thoughts or suggestions on replacement lamps or are they a stock bulb I can buy anywhere?
Thanks again!

Stock bulbs are easy. There is a thread around here regarding LED bulbs.... look up threads from bikermike, I believe.

If the lenses are not cracked or spiderwebed, and you have access to a buffer, you can buff them up to new.
Also, I don't know if you know it but.......The metal bezel is stainless and will buff up to a chrome-like shine on a buffer as well.
Mothers Back to Black works well on the rubber also, not only to clean and polish, but to make the rubber less dried out.

Unfortunately, my work situation has changed and I find myself with no time to continue working on my 1600. I've decided to post it for sale in the classifieds section but only on the club site. I'd like to find a good home for it with someone who can put the time into it and will appreciate the car so only really want to sell to another member.
I'm in SoCal so if you're local and interested PM me with your number and I'll get back to you.
Thank you all for your help and guidance!

Great looking car! I like that old patina look to it. Sad to see you have to sell it, hopefully it goes to a great owner. Good luck.
