What is your plan for the drivetrain? Empera is selling a stock 1600 and 4 speed for cheapish.

If you need any parts feel free to give me a shout. I'm cutting up a 67.5 -- some panels are still good

not sure, I'd like to go OEM Datun engine, but with the 5spd? Does the 1600 mate up to a 5 spd without any custom work/modification? Still learning this platform and I'm open to advice? I'd really like to do the SR swap...but I'm on a budget-maybe in the future?

5 speed bolts right up to the 1600, just need thicker flex plate between the engine and transmission, the 5 speed transmission mount. Because you have the 67.5 you won't even need to modify the transmission tunnel.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet! Good information...empera already sold that engine! smh, I should check the classifieds more often I guess? lol :)
