Work and family commitments are eating up all my time...oh for the retirement life of Ted!!!! Just found that the alignment shop I planned on using is closed, hard finding one locally that can handle the narrow wheel base. Not sure the charging system is working. And need to get those doors and hood on. So close yet so far away from driving.

I think the first time I drove my car down the road I had a bucket for a seat... and no doors or hood...

Pat has civilized his roadster.
The switches on the center console ashtray area are for the heated seats
On the radio console the buttons where the choke was located are for the cruise control!

The doors and door pillars were welded shut when I purchased the car. I adapted a Toyota door limiter. Wish I had a pic before installation. Took some "engineering" but works really well.

Love the flat dash conversion, but was quite the process to get right.

Wife and I plan on many day trips as well as extended touring in the future, the reason for the amenities such as the heated seats, cruise control, volvo arm rest with cup holders, retractable seat belts and Retro Sound radio with all the techie hook-ups. I have a separate trunk lid with luggage rack and a small motorcycle enclosed pull trailer for the necessary "stuff" on long trips.

My hats off to you sir, beautiful interior and love the 2 tone gray. What was your solution to finishing the door aluminum trim and threshold? Powder coat?
