With this pic, Chris could secure a corporate sponsorship from Banana Boat Sunscreen.
Next time we'll see him he'll have a temp tattoo of their logo on the back of his head (and a full wallet!)

Chris's energy and org'n skills (and the newsletter task) has truly made the SoCalROC group more cohesive and organized.
Congrats and well done, big boy!
now go out and get yourself a wide brimmed HAT!

At one point 57 cars were counted, I believe a few more might have come in after the count. Six states were represented as well as Mexico. One owner drove 784 miles one way to be there. Approximate total miles driven to the show is 16,828.

We are happy with the results of this show and already making plans to make it better next year.
A show update and pictures will be posted on the website soon.

Cheers

Beware of Banana Boat

WASHINGTON —

The maker of Banana Boat sunscreen is recalling a half-million bottles of spray-on lotion after reports that a handful of people have caught on fire after applying the product and coming in contact with open flames.

Energizer Holdings Inc., based in St. Louis, said Friday that it is pulling 23 varieties of UltraMist sunscreen off store shelves due to the risk of the lotion igniting when exposed to fire.

The recall includes aerosol products like UltraMist Sport, UltraMist Ultra Defense and UltraMist Kids.

A company spokesman said there have been five reports of people suffering burns after using the sunscreen in the last year. Four burn cases were reported in the U.S. and one in Canada.

More than 20 million units have been sold since UltraMist launched in 2010, the spokesman said.

The problem appears to be caused by UltraMist's spray valve, which is over applying the product, Energizer said in a statement. As a result the lotion is taking longer to dry, which raises the flammability risk.

Okay! I Finally got the picture CD back from photographer and the pictures are posted! Some of the picture quality are lacking and some are great. Some are from our photographer, some are from what a few of us took and some I high-jacked.
