Maybe I'll roll it into my shop and get started. I do have two rollup doors and plenty of room.

I have almost 1500 SQ feet. I guess I could compact the guitar shop into one half and dedicate the other half to the roadster.

If I ever get my hands on an Empi steering wheel, I will bug the stew out of Roman for a matching parking brake handle!

Roman, I assume wood dash panel, maybe some inlayed door panel inserts? The handle is awesome, now you need a matching steering wheel and shift knob. Car looks like a good base, as Sid said.

Well, we'll see. I'm hoping to get motivated. Right now all I see is issues. Issues that I don't have the time or money to deal with right now.

Here it is in better days.

It was a pretty good runner.

What I am not sure of is registration issues. Over 12 years unregistered, surely out of the system.

I wonder what hoops some one has to jump though in Ca to alleviate that.

Can you sell it to someone out of state, then buy it back?

Did you happen to put it non op? If so, it is just a matter of paying your fees, I believe. If not, you may have to go through the whole vin verification thing. There is a good chance it is still in the system.
Is Shasta the small place near Castella?

Nope, it was going to be a parts car for my 70 and 67.5. I tore it down and stopped registering it.

Shortly after I totalled my half year  Had a wheel come off @70mph.

Not sure, I am not familiar with Castella. Shasta lake is about an hour south from Mount Shasta, and 10 minute north of Redding.
