Straitpipe Andy gets a a muffler. 1-3/4" from the collector through the X, into a 2" center in, 2" offset out, small turbo muffler, 2" pipe over the axle, to the 18" long megaphone, (VW baja "stinger"), 1 hangar aft of X, and 1 next to the gas tank. Now I can hear all the engine noises and body squeaks. Sounds nice, till about 3800 rpm, then it sounds great!!! I havnt taken it above 4400 rpm,,,,second oil change in work, trans, diff, etc. I need to get a go pro and get that Utube thing figured out.

Andy is ticklish. Each time I pumped grease to the lower ball joint, his tire moved up n down. Uh oh.
(.100"). I cleaned the 3 point OG seatbelts and installed them. At some point I leaned on the horn pad and hoooonk, what the? I've had that on and off already and that's never worked? Works now, both horns, cool.

My kids have a way of taking advantage of my OCD.
Andy is no exception.
When they're good, I cave in.
Maybe Ill pack the bearings and install new seals "while I'm there".
Well of course I paid more for the wheels than the car, is there something wrong with that?

Those look awesome, I thought about those rims also, but I'm still on the "essentials" for my car.

HAha I was thinking the same. I was wondering how to accent that into the wheels. Maybe some paint? but it matters what you want with new shiny rims.

I have an inclining that the POs red on the wheels is a "luck charm" so incorporating it would be wise.

Removing the hood by one sure is awkward. Good thing its light. Not alot of lead but some. Looks as if the fwd ten inches is a seperate panel.
Hammered and dollied, welded the 8 or so cracks.
Not gonna make steak from hamburger, so Im gonna grill a double with mushrooms and swiss!! Should be a decent 20 footer.
(pebs will be the "pretty one").

Its tough wrastling awkward chunks of steel. The hood and front fenders are about the worst, so Im bangin out the uglies, then it will be smooth sailing. No welding needed on the doors and quarters.

Drilled out some broken bolts, sanded the maroon metallic earl sheib off with some 80, sanded again with 180,,,, ready for some primer. 3 coats of grey, and one guide coat. Ill sand the guide coat off with some used 320. The new stuff just isnt flexible enough to get in the nooks and crannies. My fingernails are gone.
I will fix the "spoiler" holes first.
