finally got around to working on this, doing window pane trim is such a pain for me! This is done with a product called BareMetalFoil....it's like aluminum foil but it conforms to surfaces and is adhesive backed. trim, burnish, cut excess off.

i made the little lace tie for the shift boot...out of phone stripped phone line wire twisted into a knot with a forcep...pardon the dust

On the home stretch here folks!
Finished all of the window trim with the BMF, here is the hatch:
The body/interior/chassis are together and now it's time to finish the suspension/exhaust/bumpers and apply all of the cool little things that make this car special:
