Haha, that's even bigger than the truck that parked next to me the first time I drove mine. The size difference is ridiculous, even with the minivan too!

Isn't it fun when one of those pulls up behind you and all you see in the rear view mirror is the license plate. Ha

Haha! What a great picture. The Datto looks like a kid's pedal car next to that thing!

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Definitely. Especially after I beat him at indoor karting inside the building...

-- Today I gave Spike.... more spikes.
Next time I rotate the wheels, I'll have some shorter valve stems put on.

My internet was down today at work, so I use that as a great excuse to work on the car. Spike got a couple of upgrades today.
Throttle cable was a little sticky just off of idle, not undrivable, but always bugged me, so I put on a new one. (Thanks Dean)
Broken!
New one is a little longer but not too long and works just fine.

Finally got around to putting on a filter kit over the velocity stacks. (thanks again Dean!)
The rear plate is cut with the brake master in mind -- very nice. You can easily see it would not have fit if the cutouts were centered.

Garm,
I'm subscribed. This is awesome. Did you get your oil cap off of ebay or was it cheaper from Nissan?
Spike looks REALLY good!! lmk what you think of that filter setup. i was going to put that on my bmw 2002, but they were pretty expensive (all in almost $100).

^ Ha, thanks! Pretty sure I got the cap from eBay, may or may not have been one of our vendors. I try to throw them my business as much as possible; Dean has been especially helpful to me.

^ Thank you kind sir. As you can see below, YOU inspired ME today. I love your car.
Got bored with the heat and humidity around here, so I made some numbers for Spike.
Historic BRE cars are 44 and 46, so I'm going with 45.
Really fun driving home today.
