Assembly required. Tools needed: some semblance of patience and expletives. Let the fun begin.

And how funny that photos are numbered 1966 and 1967.

Good luck with all that. Should be great once it's all done!

Installed one of Mike Young's gas tank supports and changed the front pads last weekend!

Just making sure I could see at least some grease :smt002

Took the opportunity to cut off the rubber rust traps

Used some Centrick aftermarket semi-metalic pads. I highly recommend them even tho they took some sanding to get them to fit. They bite hard, don't squeal or dust and have much improved heat capacity over the stock organics. And they are $7.50 a side!

$14.95 Centrick part # 102.00230

Made some progress today. Got most of the front suspension on. Found a new use for ratcheting cargo straps, great for compressing the coil spring during assembly.

Made a new copper crush washer fit the oil drain plug nicely. Changed the oil and filter. Replaced both fuel filters. Cleaned and lightly oiled the K&N air filter.

I took two differentials to Z Shop in Everett, WA this morning and came away with a rebuilt one. These guys are so nice and when everyone else said no they took it right in and did it.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

It would be except for a mistake here or there and forgetting to do things ahead of time. Oops, forgot to paint this.... Forgot to buy that....

It's a good thing I have an assembled car and I can print off the pictures in the parts manual. At least the wiring is easy for me.
