has anyone used fasteners instead of bolts to be able to take it off and on easier ? or bolts with wing nuts attached for easier removing later on? I'm thinking I should put something in there practical and maybe cool looking if lucky ..eyehooks might work too ? idk if there's room for anything like this ? anyone ever done or have an idea ?

The rubber pad is just laying on the cowl for the picture. What I want to know is, if it goes on the bottom of the hood in the small hole in the upper right corner.

I think there are two fairlady badges. 1 early OEM japanese style, and an aftermarket that fits existing DATSUN holes. Which one do you have?

The holes on my rear panel were welded up so I have to start from scratch. I can’t really tell where the original holes are from the backside

I wasnt planning on adding the 2000, I like the simplicity of just the badge alone.

The badge alone with no 2000, combined with the fact that I need to drill the holes makes me want to bring it a little lower than where it sits with both the Fairlady & the 2000 badges. The crooked version doesnt look bad either... Hmmm

on a 1966 1600 was the dash originally Gray or Black? I have tried looking in Wiki but came up short. Thanks for the help.
