Found Spencer a motor. His R16 needed replacement.
Image

We knew the motor was good when Spencer and I started pulling the car out of the field, accidentally in gear, and the fan started spinning.. Good news is low range on the Cruiser has plenty of torque to get it out..
Image

Dragged it over to Kevin's, to get the motor out..

And motor is out and getting cleaned up for install in Spencer's car..

Interesting pictures! It does look like she has the license plate trim holes... You can see them clearly in the second to last pictures.

Actually, broken cartilage, torn muscles and tendons, blood clot, pneumonia. May have had a bruised heart as well, but declined the test procedure.
Mostly better now. :smt006

I'm building some of the new wiring for the car I'm restoring and I wired up this relay box. Just need to add the plugs. Two relay for the headlights, one for the horn and one for the starter. Moving them completely out of the engine compartment.

491... It is the original body to Kevin's car.. Kevin found a 67.5 1600 body that was good enough to drive while he decides what to do with the 2 liter body..

Starter relay to take the power surge out of the switch. The ignition switch turns on the relay (low power needed) turning on power to the solenoid (high power). Helps make the switch last longer is the premise.

Of course now that people have found lower cost switches for the late cars maybe it doesn't matter. I took my new from Rallye low windshield dash switch and replaced it with a Ron Francis switch because I needed an accessory pin too.
