Today in Houston = nasty. Tomorrow in Houston = beautiful, sunny, and 48 degrees.

Cheers

As the Most Interesting Man in the World says (at least on Facebook):

"I don't always experience four seasons in two days. But, when I do, it's in Texas."

I'm in Galveston at the moment, and it's not too bad down here. Chilly and rainy, mostly. It's looking like top-down weather in Houston over the next few days though, whoo-hoo! :)

So now the only important question is: Torchy's Tacos or Tacos a Go Go...

Take him where you took me! Cute wait staff, smokin' tacos, and that wall where we parked would be a good back drop for a roadster calendar cover shot... (take #132...)

The view from the driver's seat this morning:

Image

Pretty icy all day; the whole right side of the car was covered in ice as I was driving due to a strong westerly wind plastering freezing rain and sleet to it for miles. The defroster more or less kept up with the windshield ice, at least in the middle. Roadways were largely decent, just some icing on the bridges. Winter in Texas!

Had a great time in Houston the past couple of days hanging out with jamesw and geeking out on Roadster stuff. Got to drive a very quick 2000; amazing the difference another 50% more horsepower can make over the 1600. :) As always, the generosity and friendliness of the roadster community never ceases to amaze.

Scott, I saw you and your Roadster one afternoon when you were in Miami. You were driving down S Miami Ave in Brickell (right by the CitiCentre construction) and I was a few cars behind @ the light on a cross street in my 240z. I tried catch find you when the light changed but you were long gone! I spent many weeks trying to find out who's red Roadster did I see in Brickell. Tonight I log on to 311s and through this thread solved the mystery!

Wished I would seen this thread or your blog sooner; or even catch up to you that day!

Ha--It's cool to be the mystery roadster, randomly travelling the country...like a cross between "The A-Team", "Scooby Doo", and "Kung Fu". :)
