Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
I DROVE to Long Beach, CA to attend the 12th Annual JCCS. 780miles roundtrip. We left San Jose at 10am, stayed overnight on the Queen Mary and arrived back in SJ at 11pm.
I was invited to be the booth car for Japanese Nostalgic Car:
On 152, from Diamond Dave in Eric's rig:
San Luis Obispo reservoir:
Arriving Friday evening and parking before the show:
John Knepp remembered me from Road Atlanta!

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Another great set of photos Ted. Reminds me of the time in the early 70s when I had a Triumph Spitfire and worked at a grocery store. I had to do a store to store transfer of 40 or 50 giant bags of potato chips. Got some strange looks as I drove, top down, across Tulsa engulfed in a sea of green and yellow bags. Oddly enough, even though my syncros were in excellent shape, the transmission crunched on every shift! Mike

Pat, what a great scene, glad to see the car on the road! Especially impressed in front of a combo hardware and brewery!

Good to see you out and about. How about a little run down the Spiral Highway near Clarkston?dynaguy wrote:Stretching the Roadster's legs on a beautiful fall day...About 100 miles of fun touring some of our regional attractions. Pat

Re: Where did you DRIVE this weekend? (Roadsters only!)
Mt. Rainier with Ted, a beautiful fall day on the mountain.
A favorable light shines-
Seems I am always chasing Ted-
Ted doing his snow dance or just trying to cover the yellow snow?-
At Sunrise, 6400' and 42 F.-
Even downhill I am always chasing-
Heading home-
