Yeehaw
If you are in the Big Easy, try the Cafe du Monde for beignets and coffee and people watching. Yum:

But the truth is if you don't know what to point it at and how to arrange the things you are shooting and how to see a future photo just by imagining what will be where, all the equipment in the world won't save you..

Nice photos Scott!
It's not cheating. Us old schoolers did the same thing in a darkroom. Only difference is we used chemicals (that made my head woozy :smt101 ) instead of technology!!

You didn't have to go to NOLA for a beignet. I had some cafe du mode mix right in the Hatteras house pantry. Those things are so good we keep a box of their mix on hand. Nothing like that coffee and those French doughnuts. Makes the drive down there worth it.

Houston Space Center? Then you would have hit all the major rocket centers.

Richard, your job is to circumnavigate Europe. Volunteers needed for Asia and Australia. Roadsters travel the world, one continent at a time. We'll pass on Antartica, way too much ice in summer from all the global warming.

Snow and ice are forecast for the gulf coast, i would head west  those folks don't see it and will go nuts on the road. not a good place to have your roadster in the middle of it. Be safe

I would find a nice place and sit tight for a couple of days to let the drama unfold.
