Whoever painted your car did a great job I would find out who did it and and have them do it. Longevity has it's merits. If I did it, that would be a really long commute for me after work everyday

ok 1 more, Say you dont have a "D" lying around? this plastic one only has one pin and a nub, I know its gonna pop out spin around and you know what

I got one-with both pins. Not sure if it is as pretty as youes... PM me your address again and I'll mail it up

Although you are getting one, you might want to fix yours as a spare. Carefully drill a little hole at the post, then Gorilla glue the little post in. I think I drilled by hand to avoid cracking it.
I did mine.

This experience is a bit surreal, I walk out to sand bondo and there is a painted car. For over 30 years I have wanted to paint a Datsun roadster.
Without this site, I would still be looking at a hulk.

I remember all those months that car was for sale on Craigslist-- it really looked like a forgotten dream. The car looks stunning... now you just need to finish the SR swap in the other one!
