Re: What did you do TO or FOR your Datsun today?(Roadsters only)
I spent most of the day attempting to remove the dashboard on the '70 2000. Good thing this forum exists, I'm sure I would have broken lots of stuff if I didn't have all the knowledge expressed here. Thanks to everyone for sharing. Despite my best efforts, two of the electrical connectors shattered when I grabbed them to pull them apart. The plan is to finish the dashboard removal tomorrow and spend the weekend cleaning gauges.

Go to vintageconnections.com for the proper connector replacements. He has the right parts, very reasonable pricing, and customer service second to none! PS. I just looked cross eyed at a couple of mine and they crumbled to pieces. And we can thank Linda for bringing attention to this wonderful vendor. Thanks Linda!

If you have too much time on your hands you can go back via the SEARCH to the Archives and discover I was not the first to recommend them, but I do as required. Their stuff is essential because sooner later a connector WILL break! Not to worry, they have everything

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

I have accumulated a few FREE cherry pickers over the last few years and have decided to put them to use. When the rams quit, most are tossed aside.
Gonna try to make a spinny thing.

Found these air horns on amazon for the sweet price of $35 and just could not resist. Free shipping too!
The sound (especially in tunnels
) is completely addictive: something like a V8 powered vacuum cleaner
And that is defiantly a temporary fuel filter location

Slow and steady on the re-furbishment of my reverse lights. Disassembly, paint removal, prime and paint, reassembly... Patience is needed here, but I'm happy with the progress so far.
The patients awaiting treatment... Disassembled one of two... Paint stripped from the can... The bulb socket assy stripped and painted... The can after primed and painted gloss black to match the original... That's much better... Just about there on the first one. Then rinse and repeat on number two.
