Easy. Take a picture from ten feet away, looking at the front of the car! ;) I know you have seen my car, so believe me, yours is still a pipe dream to me! If yours is a "ten footer," mine is a "sixty footer," lol!!!

Besides, don't be so hard on yourself... Andy is a beauty now!

Wow! Great colour! Looks beautiful! Can't wait to check it out in Kelowna. Met Ted in Solvang. He seems like a great guy. I am sure Kelowna will be a blast!

Looks great, what was the fail, the fit of the headlight chrome, causing the mar?

Isn't there some rope-like weatherstripping for the headlight buckets? Might help protect.
Paint looks great.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Yes. the ring is on now and covers the blemish. Im sure there will be more in the coming years.
This fender had OG paint on it and there was an identical blemish in the lead. I sanded the lead til the blemish was gone, fit the ring, so I thought, obviously not enough.

Andys left ring had a weatherstrip of sorts. Previous "bodyman" packed the backside of the scoop with bondo and pressed it on. I spent a good hour or more chipping it out.
