I drove from Danville, CA to Muir Beach and Stinson Beach via Hwy 1 and back through Muir Woods into Larkspur. A postcard day at the California beach in February (apologies tony snow-bound friends back East).

That is hilarious. Mainly because I have conversations like that every week with my 86 year-old Mom.
I really want to think she was busting his balls because of the decal...

An outing for my stock roadsters today. The Turbo Teds without the turbo roadsters.180 miles
Up one of my favorite West side forest roads in the Cascade Mts foothills near Mt Rainier.
Forest Service road 70. 10 miles of nice paved uninhabited road (with snow this early in the year).
Good testing for the maintenance work done on the 1500 as it will be driven to Solvang.
Heard a rumor that Linda will actually REGISTER for Solvang and show up DRIVING her repaired roadster.
Could it be true.? Not likely.
BUT she does live just down the road and she never makes it any of the other shows, so maybe.
The "TOO far" excuse is not acceptable.
Come on Linda, DO IT!
Ted.

No picture but the roadster did make it out of the garage for a bit of a drive today. I took my home stay student from Japan for a drive. She was a bit cold but all smiles. Forgot a blanket for her.

Well Ted there is a picture she had me take of her in the car but it's on her phone and I'm not about to put it up anyway. She tried taking some video of the drive but was already a bit too dark.
I did find out I need to have my headlights properly aimed. Not sure where best to take it for that.

Curtis, SHAME,
You are restoring a roadster and you can not aim the headlights???
Give it a try then drive at night and if oncoming drivers flash their lights you will know they are too high.
If your running OEM Toshiba headlights do not expect much light from them.
Ted.

I can aim them but would like it to be more accurate than that. My father had a set of aiming/leveling attachments at his body shop I remember using. They worked pretty well.
I put in the halogen bulbs and the one is really out of alignment.

If your garage door is light colored, it is not too hard..
Just back out 10 feet or so and set them up.. Drive to check.. Thats the fun part.

Yes, I'm well aware of this technique. Not what I want.

We'll see Ted. I don't have a pit crew, like you, to take care of all my Roadster maintainence, so I stumble along

Did take it out recently:

Otherwise I may have to take a flight up there and drive one of your cars down. I'll take the Turbo please.

Will keep it under 100......
Linda
