I'm redoing my seats. Used POR15 cleaner/degreaser, metal prep and the painted them.
After the cleaner/degreaser
After metal prep
Paint pictures to follow. I've got new covers and have to cut new foam for the bottoms. Also have new webbing on the way for the worn out straps.

Looking good. A lot of work but well worth it in the end.

I finally got the car running good enough to take it to an exhaust shop to get my SS 2"
exhaust system installed.
Here is a link to the before and after photos.
Cost of install and parts in 74 was $70, I think it was a good deal.
Cost of install alone not parts was over twice that! Oh my
No complaints though I can afford it
Quite pleased with the result, even though the install was completed with the top up

Those astute users will find this in the Quick Small Stupid thread too ...
Okay finally got the video noise of the JT68 exhaust loaded on FB. PM me if your interested or find it on FB.
Tired of messing around with computers for the moment. I like the system from JT though and would do it again.
Especially if I had a working tranny.
Here is the new sound on FB
in this link ...

Video taken with OMG top up, tried to capture the tranny grindings too!
System is worth 10 times what I paid for it! How's that Sid!

To clarify here: Keith hoped I'd sell him my exhaust system if I could not get the car running.

At least it is my take on it

Hi Mike I hope you are totally happy with the system.
The main muffler is a very high flow part so if you run that part without the rear booster resonator it will be fairly loud/snarly/
If you want me to try to help take you back to your youth a little, I can build a rear exhaust tip without the resonator can, all stainless, and with the nice stainless cone.
That would add a lot more bark, growl, and rasp to the sound if you want that.
Let me know if you want to try anything different and I'll be glad to work with you on it!
I think the system you purchased is a great balance between, tone, volume and very high flow, but if you are unhappy about any part of it, we can work that out I'm sure. jt

Thanks Jim,
No unhappiness here (sorry if it sounded like there is)!
Nice to know there are options if I want to go back to the rebellion of my youth.
Suspect not but you never know what I might do ...

A while back I created a Datsun badge from scratch using a CAD program and 3D printed it. I filled in the recesses with model paint and finally put it on the front grill.
