I have the e/flasher. I noticed the Tech Wiki says 1157 bulbs in the back, with 1156 bulbs for rear turn signals. Odd but I have 1157 sockets top and bottom at the rear of the car. Turn signals not working with LED 1157 but they used to work with bulbs. Teck Wiki says 1157 in the front turn signals. They actually turn on but don't flash so perhaps my e/flasher is not grounded or something?
Thx for any help.
Linda

According to what people have posted you need a different flasher to work with led bulb.

I used this one recommended by Bikermike:

1500 are cable operated - like british cars. 65 - 67 have squarish bodies. 67.5 has a round body as do later cars. I haven't compared the round bodies to tell the differences.

I am using the same e/flasher for LEDs except it is the EF32RLNP which works without regard for polarity.
The lights come on but don't flash.
Strange.

You cannot mix LED and Non LED bulbs, weird things happen. If you are changing 2 or 4 bulbs on a circuit, you must change them all - so if you do the rear, do the front etc. Otherwise the LED's seem to be VERY sensitive to grounding issues in my experience.

That may be true in practice with the Roadster, but the flasher info states a mix of incandescent and LED is fine, unlike previous flashers. But I will see if I can check the grounds again.

The prohibition of the mixing of incandescent and LED came from a manufacturer when I had problems getting mine to work. Sure enough when I switched them all out, the problem went away on my roadster. On my Impala all kinds of weird things were happening - dash lights came on when I hit the brakes among other things. Adding some grounds helped, but I still have two Incandescent lights up front. My brother had similar issues adding LED's to hi Toyota FJ. His issues were solved with cleaned grounds. Again, my experience only.

I'm going to check all the sockets to be sure they are clean too, they can rust.

What would cause a transmission not to shift when the engine is off? Both with and without clutch pushed in.
New clutch master and slave bled.
It does go into reverse and I believe 5th gear.

It is normal. The rear tires through the drive shaft keep the out-put shaft from moving. Just roll it a couple inches and you will get a different two or more.

Gas tank mounting strap insulation.
I will be getting my gas tank back from being cleaned. The old material (that fell apart) looked like a canvas webbing. I have been through the parts manuals and it is not identified.
So, what is a good replacement material to use?
Thanks
