"Spike" got some upgrades today.

Seat covers from Les, I'mhappy with them and the price was right.
My favorite upholsterer, Chatsworth Auto Upholstery rebuilt the foam and webbing, then had to work the covers over pretty good but they ended up fitting pretty well.







And, in keeping with the "rat race" theme... cargo net! Jacket or grocery bag not a problem in the "boot" area now.

I agree, Seats are perfect. Comfort level must be much improved too,.
I grabbed the net from Linda's Mini before we traded it in. It also had a small net, about 13 inches long and 5 inches deep along the trans tunnel ahead of the shifter on the pass side. It was very handy, held anything from sunglasses to an Ipad. Planning on making one for the 66.

It's nice not to sit on the floor. Cleaned up the sliders too, which now work.

LOL, or the 2012 Yaris seat I strapped down with bungee cords while the stock seats were recovered. "Look Mom, no seatbelts"!

That was actually pretty comfortable, except for the bridge of my nose touching the sun visor.

Foglight success! Thank you bikermike, for your patient guidance with wiring up a relay. Not only can I do it now, I know how to do it.

I tucked the relay up under the fender next to the battery, using the fender bolt to secure it. Loomed everything; foglights are now on a relay and on the factory headlight switch. I'll hook up a 15amp in-line fuse tomorrow.

I love the fender bolts, great way to mount stuff without making holes. Are they the JC Whitless lights?

Hot Rod Company, they sell clear and amber for about $65 a set shipped.
I like the quality and they put out decent light.

On the high windshield cars is the foglight switch integrated into the headlight switch?
