Fun drive with Ted to see Pebbles, well most of it was okay. Still have poor running issues and am sort of stumped. Think I'll start a new thread when I get home. Ted, thanks for patience and understanding.

Well I drove it up to thimble peak lookout. And I was famous for 15 sec as some young lady (30's) yelled nice car as she drove by.
She turned around came back and took my picture

Has it been that long since you have driven Roadster Barney?
Expect a simple fuel stop to take up to 30 min nowadays. :smt103

I don't know what's going on with that - they stopped showing new episodes a couple of weeks ago - not sure if the current season is over, if they decided not to use the car or maybe they'll use it later?? I'll let you know if I hear something from them.

DROVE little bit of everything this weekend! Took both cars through Saratoga. The side-pipe car still runs strong after warm-up, here she is revving out:

Impressive show! Drove two roadsters on the weekend!
Are you running dry ice in the radiator of the side-pipe car ... seems it was running cool as a cucumber in Alaska? :smt003

And the wheels on the side-pipe car are? I'm sure they are here somewhere pictured ... but I gotta know please.

Excellent display of center caps on the pic, which look great with the black calipers!

Well when you are unemployed like me Tuesday is a weekend day too.
Experimenting with pasting links from other locations too.

Another drive up to 6000 feet today, car got to 195 or so on the way up stayed at 175 to 180 degrees on the way down.
Thinking I need 1.5 inch blocks for a no rake state ... maybe someday I'll be done and then no more photos ...

I like just like it is, the amount of rake, at least in pictures is very subtle. I think it gives it an aggressive look, keep it!

Thank you for the feedback Tom, I like it the way it is too.

Certainly gives me more time to get a new top and some interior "tweaks" etc el. (engineering geek speak lol).

Side pipe car currently runs stock wheels on 185/70/14 tires:

Love the paint, it is beautiful. That's the color I was going to do my first roadster in as it needed to be repainted and was already burgundy. That shows off the lines great.
