Brushed finish is really nice. Can't stand mirror chrome wheels.

Thanks.
I'll add them to the thread when I get a pic of the whole car to add with them.

I installed my door actuator that I got from Mike Young. Works great now. Thanks Mike.
Weather starting to become bearable here. I'll try to get some new pics this weekend. I am currently working on carpeting the trunk. And my driver door is sagging, so I will shim the lower hinge unless there is another solution to that problem.

If your door is sagging, then the issue is likely a hinge pin that is sheared. Buy a new hinge and just replace it.

I don't see any movement between the hinge sections. When I lift the door, it looks like the top hinge flexes a little. I don't see any rust and the passenger side does it too.
Seems like it is just sagging or out of alignment. I don't know the history on the car.

Today I put carpet in the trunk. I used the silver adhesive backed insulation underneath. Here are some pics.

Thanks.
Carpet and insulation from Amazon. Not expensive.
I made the sides from corrugated plastic and glued magnets on the back so it just sticks to the body seams.
And, it is hiding all the rust.

I need to see this in person. FresNo? FresYes!
I wonder if we could get a gang to do a fun down or meet halfway?

Los Banos is about half way... I haven't driven it that far yet, but there is a first time for everything.
October is pretty stacked for me. I can probably get away for a few hours on the weekend of Oct 9th, otherwise sometime in November.

Trunk carpet

Thanks.
Sounds good.
To answer some questions:
The sides of the trunk are carpet on top of corrugated plastic (coroplast)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C9 ... UTF8&psc=1
I cut the plastic to fit, then hot glued small rare earth magnets in the 4 corners to hold the plastic in place. The magnets go on the seams of the body. Then I cut carpet to fit them, sprayed them with Super 77 and put them together and let them dry. They still fit when I put them back in there. I wanted them very light weight so I could hold them in with the magnets. They come out easy to access the battery on the driver's side and empty well on the passenger side.
Insulation:
This is silver backed foam with adhesive. I put the adhesive side towards the carpet. This gives the back and floor some rigidity but is still very flexible. For now, the back is staying in place via friction but I will glue or use magnets or some other method as needed in the future. The floor was done the same way so I can take it out and access the fuel pump.

I spent hours making the templates and minutes cutting everything out and installing.
Carpet:

There are probably better materials and better methods, but these worked for me.
For the two "triangles" in the corners on the floor where they ramp up to the back of the cab and the fender wells, I (template) cut carpet and glued it to the trunk floor. Those are semi permanent and will hopefully stay put until I decide to paint the whole car at which time I would either get a whole car kit or do custom interior.
I used this method because I could not find just a trunk kit and I was going to have to cut a kit anyway for the breaker bolted to the floor.

Just had my header ceramic coated.
Waiting on gauges.
Once I get the gauges, I can finish up my dash.
