Got both roadsters hauled south with a ton of parts 66/67 2 liter. Safely tucked in the new shop. Purchased a 2 post lift before things got crazy. Brother and I got it installed on our short trip south. Always wanted one and had room in the new shop. Will make a nice addition. So, I scored the passenger side quarter panel and a rear panel. I already had a trunk floor panel. Once I get the three '69's that were given to me parted out I will start back up on the '66. Lot's of cutting and welding in front of me. Looking forward to getting back to the projects.

Nice, the 2 post lift will make it easier and safer to remove the bodies from the frame and vice versa. As well as all other work and maintenance. Just don't call the Roadsters tractors!

Yeah, I should have taken a shot without the tractor but we were getting ready to leave and that is where it was parked. Will give the lift a real work out over the winter.

I sure like my 2 post lift...at 74 crawling around under cars anymore just doesn't cut it.

My turn now Steve. Fresh from the machine shop, 1800cc of short block. Bored .040 over for Std Toyota 5R pistons decked .060. Reconditioned rods, street grind cam, G15 crank and all balanced. Next up the head for some work. Second flywheel is for my other engine.

Thanks to Steve and Dave Premo for the info on how to do this.

I paid $540 cash yesterday for rods, piston fly cut, bore, cam bearing install, balance and mock up. Crank had already been ground by them before.

Yes and they are one of the only crank grinders. Maybe one or two others left around here. Guy looks like he's been at forever.

Shop is top notch and builds race engines.
