What a great build you have there! Keep up the great work, hope you get her started before new Year. If you do send a video! :smt026

Good luck, take care.

Maybe we can try to fire it up when the body is out to the paintshop. First another fender and 2 doors to go...
But will not happen this year anymore.

Did some wiring and replumbing on the fuellines and waterpipes. Also puzzled with the starter. You can remove it (when the waterpipes are relocated) without removel of the triangler plate at the rightside of the body. But my husband already made another triangler plate for more access and when you grow older and don't have the handy tools and Japanese finger skills anymore, a removable plate will be handy. (we can make it now and don't want to cut and weld later after painting). WE WHERE GLAD WE MADE IT WITH WIRING INSTALLING IT CAME IN VERY HANDY

new wiring rightside for turnsignal, fan, watertempsensor, oilpressure sensor, alternator controllight

Image

underneath airvalve readjusted the fuellines, better picture later

Image

love my washerfluidbottle

Image

want to make a groundpoint on the body on bothsides for the negative groundwires

Image

wires for beamlights in front of the grille (don't want them but you never know)

Image

the length is a bit to long, but the new wires have to go thru the side (next to antenna) inside the car

Image

Also washer fluidline goes along with the leadingwire and instead of going thru the inside it goes thru the water outlet (above the hole of the antenna), don't forget to plug of the hole which was originally used for the fluidline underneath the air intake in front of the windshield

Image

almost removed all the clips

Image

new wiring in trunk for rear- and turninglights, backuplights, licenseplatelight, fuelpump and fuelpumplevel indicator

I like the removable plate for starter access (assuming its on that side... I didn't look!). They make restorations/modifications look sooooo easy on TV... But you guys know just how much time, effort, patience and focus it takes. It's great that you and your husband are doing this together without you wanting to rivet him to the shop wall! Teamwork baby! Well done...
