Are you using the steering support from a 66?
Yes, I cut off the late steering support and welded on the early style. I then had to reinforce that backet so it remains nice and strong. The steering column is a combination of a early and late as well.

Yes I still have the 510. It needs to be exercised more then it gets but is looks good and is fun to drive.
