"He swears he can get me 180 -190 HP out of an H20 and make it streetable, without making me broke."
You'd be a bloody silly bugger if you built a stroker and didn't go for it!! And when he's done I've got an R16 head he could have a go at also!!

It is very tempting. We'll see how the finances are in Spring. Either way I'm building the stroker, just a matter of how crazy. It would be SO cool, especially with the nitrous. Drivetrain parts breakage is the first sign of proper engine modification
I'm still searching for an H25, but they are not easy to find. As far as I can tell, the heads etc don't interchange, but if I can find one to play with, I have to try.

I know a guy with an R16 stroker over here that puts out about 95kw (~125hp) at the wheels, using an H20 crank, flat tops, twin 44phh Solex's and essentially a "B" U20 cam. Torquey thing, too, and quite quick.
Cheer,
Steve

Here is a head gasket for under $40.

Well, with Mark screwing up my plans by dropping a worked over U20 in my lap, stroker parts will get sold off. Less clutter. Still watching for the H25 though, no substitute for cubic inches.
