Every day is "Take Your Roadster To Work" day for me.
I especially like the way our carpark constructor made the gap around the sides of the speed bumps in the multi story car park juuuuust wide enough for me to go round the outside instead of over the bumps. Provided no-one is parked with their backside sticking out too far, of course.

I had to drive to work today, the 90-mile commute was much more bearable in the roadster

Nice view Alvin - much better than mine! I took my roadster to work every day this week - it's my last chance to enjoy this really nice weather here in Houston.
You commute 90 miles to work???? Now I remember why I left the bay area...ugh.
Cheers
James

My commute to work is only 12 miles but it was snowing today. When I drive my 2L, it always top down. But 2 weeks ago I towed to Denver for an autocross and got hit with a major blizzard in the start grid, top down. The things I go through for having fun in my roadster.

I drove my roadster to the SoCal BBQ last Saturday, almost 200 miles. I have been driving it all week. It starting acting up last night. Its like its running out of gas. I filled the tank, but that did not cure the problem. I have been "playing" with the fuel and ignition maps and figured I screwed something up. What else is new. LOL
I was having a problem in the mid range. I remembered I had turned on the "closed loop" (uses the Oxygen sensor to adjust the A/F ratio). I turned it off and the engine sounded much happier. I will drive it tomorrow to check it out.
BTW, my commute is 12 miles also. I am trying to get things dialed in for my trip through Solvang to Laguna Seca. I still have not decided if I am going to the Friday Night Bash or Not. I have found some very interesting routes to Laguna Seca from San Diego. I have Thursday, Friday and Monday off, so I can take my time.

45miles one-way. I wouldn't call it a "typical" commute. I-280, if you recall is a scenic highway. No traffic. No gridlock. I get passed up doing 85. I did this for 6months when I first had the SR in, put about 11k "commuter" miles

until (read earlier post) reality set in.
I hear you though, don't mess with texas. our buddy dan is very good at rubbing it in with his estate that he got by moving out of the bay area

I drove mine to work... kind of. It's parked in the hangar at Smith Reynolds, flew the Bonanza the rest of the way to Dulles. With a new baby, it seems if I don't drive it to work then I don't get a chance to drive it

I've been driving mine to work for the past 3 weeks. I swapped cars for the weekend because I figured the neighborhood wouldn't be happy with me driving around at 3 am. I haven't made it back up to St Helena to get it.
It will likely be back out for the rest of the summer, fall, and into the winter. No one sees the car at work since it lives under a cover.

Man, my roadster is always at work. Parked in the shop, not going anywhere.
