The units are nissan. You would have to call Herb on the particulars. He has photos of the units. I don't know if he has part #'s but I bet he could track them down with his eastern connections.

I really like the rollbars! Any ideas on how functional they are versus the one-piece units? I'd be interested in something like these for my '68.

I designed them to be fully functional. They are attached through the floor with grade 8 hardware and have a corresponding plate under the floor of the car. The car is getting a four point Simpson harness and the top straps will get attached to the crossbar.
If you wanted an even stiffer setup the outer bar of the main loop could be welded (or bolted) right to the frame rail. We could also run the rear support off the top of the main hoop, like a Cobra has. I just didn't care for the look of a single hoop bar all the way across and the customer wanted some rollover protection.
If anyone is interested in getting something like these made let me know and I'll put a price together.

Mike, I'm interested! My project '68 is a ways off from being complete, but I definitely will be wanting a roll bar & I definitely like these!

No, it's chassis black, sort of a semi-gloss black. Still a little dirty in some recent photos, the wet sanding really makes a mess.
