Car issues

After seeing the car, I have to agree with Steve on this one. Mike is not out to screw anyone, neither is Dan (who is only the middle man who generially doesn't get to see the cars first hand, or if he does its just a quick look.) I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but do give Mike a call on this one.

I just caught the thread...I haven't been to the site in a while. I am the infamous Dan. I did not see this car first hand. I just post things for Mike when they come along. I like to look them over so we can give the most accuarate description possible. Give him a call and and let him know how you feel. He isn't out to get anyone. He probably didn't dig too far into the car himself. As for the hard to find missing pieces... let me and Mike know and we'll do what we can to scare some parts up. This is a very small and supportive community; we all have the same desire, to keep these cars up and running. Feel free to email me at
dphilbin@calpoly.edu . Also, Lance, I would love to meet you the next time I am in SLO. I moved away for the summer, but I should be back soon.

Hello Guys, I just wanted to let it be known that Mike and I spoke today. We are working a deal out to make things right. I sincerely believe that he did not know this car had as many “issues as I found. I do want to thank everyone’s help and motivation in turning my Roadster experience into a good one. You guys are the reason why I am going to restore this car and not runaway from it!

Lance,
Glad to hear you got in touch with Mike. Hang in there--you will have a runner sooner or later. We are here to provide support and advice-some good and some bad but never intentionally bad!
Take care.
Steve
