TR is looking at the hard lines the same way that I am. Since the pressure swtich for the late cars and the splitter for the early cars are in the same general location, the lines should work fine on an early car with just one line left over. You will need to massage the lines to work, but that should be no problem. The routing of the lines on the frame has been the same on every roadster that I have seen. I think that if you have not flared lines before, and really want stainless, the prebent is a good answer.

Just my $.02 worth of free advise....

Well I contacted Classic Tube yesterday and they informed me that what they have listed as a 1966 Datsun (All Models) brake line set is actually a brake line set for a Datsun Roadster, so I will be ordering that one from them.

Thanks to everyone

That's good to know! Pay the extra for the stainless if you want it to look nicer and you plan on keeping the car for sometime. Please post as to the quality of the kit so everyone knows... TR

Great Conversation

So............If I purchased a set of hard brake lines and the clutch line from Classic Tube (listed as for 2 liter) they will fit my 1966 SPL-311 1600cc?

Thanks ,
