F'ing sweet!

I've wanted a 7 since I was about 5 years old. I've been hankering to build a "Datus 7". What engine is that? Which chassis?

I'm building one right now actually. It should be finished in a few weeks. Keep checking at www.roper-photo.com
Love the flat black Kosei's! Did you polish the panels?
The aluminum "tub" is polished from the factory. It's an option you can order...

Engine is a hot rod A14 from a '81 210. Has the 5spd from the same car as well. The chassis is a Birkin S3 chassis.

You can see some more photos of it here: Click!

And one for the road...

Hey John I just checked out your roadster gallery, and you bought Tom Walter's pair of roadsters, didn't you?

When I was over there during the summer he was reluctantly considering selling them. He's a good guy, and definitely a Jedi Master when it comes to roadsters.

Why don't you buy them? The problem I'm having is the guy who was going to buy them with me backed out. Now I don't really have a way to get them back here... :?

I don't have anywhere to store them. My girlfriend would kill me if I brought home one, let alone two, more roadsters. Currently both sides of our two-car garage are monopolized by the body and frame of my 68. If my car were already done I would definitely consider it.

Damn, I like those 7's. In all reality, they aren't that much less practical than a Roadster, except maybe for a daily driver.
