It does , also having a professional photographer as a spouse you learn a trick or two on composition

If you paint it another color you will have to change Mr Green’s name...

We've been calling this car Mr Green or Greenie for the past 4 years no matter what happens I believe it will always be Mr Geen

The car does look good from a few feet away and in pictures but it was a budget paint job done 25 years ago and it starting to show , at first I was just going to do hood and fenders but was recommended to do the whole thing since they cant guarantee a match (this an old enamel 1 stage)

I started removing the door cards and that gives you and idea of the kind of paint job that was done
The cars was originally BGM 531

Other than redoing a color match on the green ,
I'm considering the following colors in order of preference
665 Pale Yellow
664 Spanish Red
531 Beige Grey Metallic
Aston Martin Mako Blue

I really like the bluish silver - I read the beginning and see it is Aston Martin Mako blue.

It's a great color , especially in natural light
Makes me think of a metallic Sora

haha
It is beautiful and if I did not have Mrs Blue it would be a no brainer , but I'm thinking I want something equally nice as Mrs Blue but in a different tone
I haven't decided yet
This Roadster is Mako Blue that's were I got the idea from (you have to look past the wire wheels and dubious interior )

So first snow is on the ground and the interior project will be starting soon
if you've followed some of my post you know I have a thing for wheels and steering wheels
I like the stock steering wheels on the 67.5 but think it's just a little too big and I love r the look of a wooden steering wheels in these car
so inspired by Matt Short and Steven Flor I've decided to combine what they did and make the perfect for me steering wheel

This is the first steps of the project I took a messed up steering wheel and reduced the diameter by 1" to fully match my 370mm Nardi steering wheel
and I'm bringing it over to a carpenter to make me a wood rim for it, I've not selected the wood essence yet but it will be something that will be complimentary to the color selected (most likely African Mahogany ) . Th finished product should be between 14.75 and 15" which to me is the perfect size

This is Steven Flor beautiful finished product I'm emulating

That Mako blue roadster looks pretty good with those wire wheels and no trim, it looks right somehow. I usually don't like wire wheels on a roadster or the no-trim look!

I like the wire wheels, but not the no trim look. But to each their own...
